Cases include sudden deaths from a variety of natural causes, accidents (including medical accidents, especially anaesthesia-related), suicide, and criminal abortion, also suspicious deaths of infants, as well as cases of murder and manslaughter. Among the cases of particular interest, 2/44, 2/254 deaths from administration of Salvarsan ("606"); 2/91-93, 95, 100 cases of heart failure of patients at Bethlem Royal Hospital from administration of amylene hydrate; 2/101, 2/306 deaths of infant after vaccination; 2/128 knocked down by car; 2/148 knocked down by motor van; 2/149 "Killed in France Sept 7 1914. Disinterred recently & brought home for cremation' - examined at Golders Green Crematorium; 2/190 partly mummified infant; 2/214 Accidental shooting; 2/240 Hermaphrodite; 2/250 double suicide attempted (a doctor and his housekeeper); 2/275 Acute CO2 poisoning in beer vat; 2/284-286 victims of Zeppelin raid 13 Oct 1915; 2/309 "Dr removed afterbirth in pieces then pulled out uterus";
