Biographical note
The Nuffield Foundation, who had supported the work of the Nuffield Blood Group Centre (see C.9-C.13) gave £6,950 over two years to support Mourant's work on the association between blood groups and disease. Further support of £3,046 was given for the period April-December 1976.
