You and Yours is a series of six workshops designed to engage members of the public in the health/bioscience activities of the University of Leeds. Placing the health service user at the centre of the workshop design process is critical to the organiser’s approach. Each event will have demonstrations, presentations and a range of interactive activities. Clinicians, researchers and expert patients will seek to demystify medicine and science, and foster an active dialogue between all participants. The workshops will be associated with a range of health-topic-related events designed to complement the workshops and raise public awareness of just what goes on in the large buildings on the hill.
