Notes

Louise Kendal comes from Manchester but originally from Belfast. On the plinth she will representing/celebrating the centenary of Girl Guiding UK which was started 100 years ago this weekend. Will be saying the promise. Talks about her progression in the organisation, eventually moving to Manchester. Has just qualified as a leader. She talks about her travels to Thailand training guide leaders there as well as the culture shock and appreciation of the local people.
