Finding aids

Database description transcribed from S.A.J. Moorat, Catalogue of Western Manuscripts on Medicine and Science in the Wellcome Historical Medical Library (London: Wellcome Institute for the History of Medicine, 1962-1973).

Ownership note

Ex-libris of Robert Steele, who has written on the verso of the second fly-leaf 'Natural Philosophy, Physics and Metaphysics MS. 16th [crossed through and '17th' written over in green pencil] Salamanca'. Though this MS. may have been bought in Spain, evidence from the text, and the general style of these lectures, would seem to indicate a French Jesuit school of college as the place of origin.
