Description

Hebdomas Hebdomadarum Kabalistarum, Magorum, Brachmanarum, antiquorumque omnium sapientum secreta mysteria continens. Illustrated by 37 full-page symbolic alchemical water-colour drawings. The legends are in Sanscrit, Chaldaean, Hebrew, Coptic, Greek, and Latin. According to the Paris bookseller Nourry: 'Dans un manuscrit alchimique du XVe siècle, on rapporte que Nicolas de Valois, de Caen en Normandie, est l'auteur de ce livre ... traitant de la Philosophie hermétique ... Il le dessina pour son fils, le Sieur d'Ecoville-Valois'.
