Correspondence and photographs occasioned by Paton's retirement.
Included with portrait and retirement photographs, is a colour photograph of Wellcome Trustees (Paton, Williams, Smith, Muir and Peart) at "North Carolina Laboratories" (n.d.).
The file also includes holograph notes for three speeches, a letter concerning the presentation of the Osler Medal (Oxford, 1986), a programme for the University of Surrey Ceremony for the Conferment of Honorary and Higher Degrees (1986) and Paton, "On becoming and being a pharmacologist" (1986, reprinted).
