Lettering

Southend General Hospital. Messrs. Adams, Holden and Pearson, FF.R.I.B.A., architects. Left - Out-patients hall. Red bricks have been used for the surrounds to the windows, the frames of which are painted white. Right - children's ward. The purple tile paved verandah has a stone surround. Red bricks are used for the plinth whilst the window frames facng the verandah are painted green.
