Notes

Jean Westbrook comes from Maccesfield. She is studying art at university. Previously she was a primary teacher but now is a foster carer and works in a children's care centre. On the plinth she is going to wear a huge cardigan she has knitted as an art piece that can fit 5 people in. The cardigan represents how we hide behind our comfort clothing. She will take the cardigan off and dance round the plinth to music such as Bowie with a fabric life-size cut out she has made of herself. She will also read some poetry and improvise
