Receipt-Book, French: 18th century

Collection of medical receipts, and a few miscellaneous receipts and 'secrets': in French, by several hands. On p. 199 there is a pen-drawing of a fish-trap. The first 140 pp. consist of receipts for patent or secret remedies, some certainly copies of advertising leaflets, etc. In some cases prices are given. The date 1753 is found on p. 21, and on p. 211 there is an entry dated 1766.
