About this work

Description

Shows tall plant with divided ovate leaves and slender spikes of white flowers. Contains triterpenoid saponins. Remifemin from this plant is used to suppress luteinizing hormone. Also has an effect on the heart similar to digitalis and excessive use may be toxic.
