The consultation process for new or revised FPIS leaflets was as follows:
first draft of proposal and leaflet was discussed with the Medical Department, then drafts went to the Medical Advisory Panel and the NAFPD and also to the HEC Publications Officer and Resources Officer.
Revised drafts then went to SHEG and FPIS HEO Publications Panel; the DHSS, Regional Administrators and Brook Advisory Centre were also invited to comment.
The HEC got the final comment, after which the Medical Department and FPIS staff had a final discussion before the leaflet was produced.
