Manuscript notebook by Herbert Rees Wilson, including an index of x-ray photographs taken of DNA samples, with details of the source material (including sepia sperm head and calf thymus), and the salt used in the preparation (sodium, rubidium or potassium). Also guidelines for measuring ‘spots and ‘streaks’ on the x-ray diffraction photographs, and calculations concerning the data derived from the photographs.
