Transcript of shorthand note of proceedings, 24 & 25 Jan 1956, in the Chancery of the County Palatine of Lancaster Liverpool District, and Judgement in the Supreme Court of Judicature Court of Appeal, 21 Jun 1956, of the case brought by the University of Liverpool, Management Committee of the Liverpool Radium Institute and Attorney-General of the Duchy of Lancaster, against the Trustees of the funds of the invested funds of the Friends of the Liverpool Radium Institute. Also some Campaign correspondence, and memoranda proposing action to publicise the Campaign's lack of connection with the case.

This case concerned a large sum of money collected from the public and not distributed since 1946 except for a small grant of £800 given to the Liverpool University for Cancer Research. Outcome the of action: £40,000 to be given to Cancer Research generally, and scientific and medical development in connection therewith; £80,000 for a Research Centre in Wirral; £900 pa for a period of years for a Research Fellowship at the Liverpool University
