'Matrix Vegetal' was created by Patricia Domínguez for a Wellcome Collection commission, devised as part of the Rooted Beings exhibition (24 February – 29 August 2022). The tender involved a partnership with the Delfina Foundation, with input from La Casa Encendida in Madrid, who were Wellcome Collection's touring partner for the exhibition.
