Description

Cérémonial du Coutelier. Traduction de Mr. L'abbé Betermann de Châtellerault. Translator's holograph MS. preceded by a copy of the original printed 'Ceremoniel der Messerschmiede' Leipzig: Groschuffs Buchladen. 1708. Pasted inside the upper cover is a book-plate 'De la Collection de Camille Pagé fabricant de coutiaus à Chasteleraud.'

1 volume 2 ll. + pp. 358-392 + 2 ll. + 56 pp. + 3 bl. ll. 8vo. 151/2 × 9 cm. Mottled calf-gilt binding. The printed section has an engraved frontispiece. It is extracted from Friese's larger work 'Der vornehmster Künstler und Handwerckes Ceremoniel-Politica', Leipzig, 1708-1716.
