About this work
Description
The film shows how surgeons and artists have come together in their efforts at finding ways to overcome facial deformity caused by cleft lip and palate. It examines how individual satisfaction with facial appearance during the course of cleft surgery aftercare has an important influence on well-being. The collaboration has given patients a greater degree of control over the facial image they wish to have.
