Includes copy letter (3 December, 1943) to The Rt Hon C R Attlee, Lord President of the Privy Council, requesting sight of a Government memorandum on patent policy. The reply (26 December, 1943), from K C Turpin, Private Secretary, declines to make the memorandum available, adding that "the Report in question is not limited, as suggested in your letter, to the dedication of patents in the medical field, but is much wider in scope, and makes various proposals applicable to patents of all descriptions."
