Description

Notebook containing pen and ink copies of the 78 symbolic alchemical figures in J C Barckhausen, Elementa chemiae (Leiden, 1718). The numbering of the figures suggests that they were copied in France. The title page (f. 1) is inscribed 'Barchusen. Liber singularis'.
