    The Council have appointed Consulting Engineers who have submitted to them and the Ministry of Housing and Local Government a scheme for relaying of certain lengths of sewers and the construction of a new sewage disposal works.The Ministry have required before approving the scheme,an investigation into the amount of surface water infiltration into the sewers.The Consulting Engineers have prepared a scheme for this investigation which has been approved by the Council and the Ministry and works on the scheme are being carried out.
