Notes

Maria Puga comes from Plymouth but is originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Has lived in the UK for the past four years as she is studying a Fine Arts degree at Plymouth College. She would like to work in the theatre and work with community projects with refugees. On the plinth she will be performing to a poem "Children in Gaza at war" her recorded voice will play with music behind. Throughout the hour she will be wearing Muslim clothes, African clothes and then her black clothes.
