Prescriptions given to Mrs. Pruen by Dr. Jenner her respected friend. With two pages of holograph receipts by Dr. Jenner. The date 1823 is on the recto of the first leaf mentioned above. Produced in Cheltenham.

1 volume 45 pp. + 15 ll. 8vo. 19 × 111/2 cm. Unbound, loose in quarter-calf covers. The holograph receipts are found on the verso of the first leaf after p. 45, and on the recto of the second.

Biographical note
The compiler gives her name and address at the head of the table of contents which remains unfinished at the end of the volume: 'E. D. Pruen, Woodbine Lodge, Cheltenham'. Her husband, the Rev. Thomas Pruen, Rector of Dursley, a life-long friend of Dr. Jenner, wrote 'A comparative sketch of the effects of the variolous and vaccine inoculation', published at Cheltenham in 1807.
