Letter from Sterling referencing the debate as to whether new appointments should be assigned to biologists or to molecular biologists, and suggesting to Penrose that the enclosures accompanying the letter are appropriate to the arguments and should be distrubuted to staff. Enclosed is a print of the Penrose "Impossible" Staircase under the title "Macromolecular Structure the Basis of Pyschobiological Responses".
