Notes

Richard Morrison is a doctor from Belfast Northern Ireland. Having complete medical training he is now in his second year as a foundation doctor in a psychiatric unit. He has flown over with his girlfriend especially for this project. He has followed Gormley's work for a while and has seen some of his sculptures before. He thought this sounded like an interesting project and this lead him to volunteer. He now feels honoured to represent Britain in this cross section project. He has been very busy at work recently and so he has decided this project will offer him an isolated space where he can do something for himself. On the plinth he will sit and read the newspaper and do the crossword.
