About this work

Description

Correspondence and papers relating to Rosen's idea, proposed to Oxford University Press, for a children's publication consisting of a collection of words, diagrams or illustrations of a clapping and singing game for girls aged about six to nine. He proposed that it contain words, music and illustrations of the actions by diagrams or photographs and that there also be a record sold as part of the package. The proposal was not taken forward as it was deemed to be too 'unusual' for OUP. The file contains a few draft song ideas and a circular / disk object Rosen has made.
