2 autograph letters, signed, written at Bencoolen (Bengkulu, Sumatra) to Nathaniel Wallich F.R.S. (1786-1854), Danish surgeon and botanist, superintendant of the Calcutta Botanic Gardens. No. 31 mentions Wallich's son George Charles Wallich, who served in the Indian Medical Service.
