Head of a Maltese cock

Watercolour drawing of a head of a Maltese cock, into the comb of which a spur had been transplanted from the foot, by the surgeon John Hunter, and had grown into the spiral horn six inches long, shown in the drawing. From a preparation which was once held in the Museum of the Royal College of Surgeons.
