Notes

Pete Chapman comes from Bradford in West Yorkshire. He was born in Wanstead.. He has been involved with the community one way or another for many years especially with his work with the 1 in 12 club, which was established in the 80s (at the time the Tory government said 1 in12 people were fradulently claiming benefits). He is a radio broadcaster in Bradford with a few weekly and monthly shows. He talked about the club and about the band he plays with, "The Bookworms". Also has a punk show on the radio and talked about the bands he loved and the music he played. On the plinth he will take up a red and black flag.
