About this work

Description

A member of the distinguished family of microscope manufacturers founded in Paris in 1839 by Camille-Sébastien Nachet (1799-1881) and continued by his son Jean-Alfred Nachet (1831-1908). Albert Nachet was also a scholar of the history of microscopy and a collector of historic microscopes
