Traité général des opérations de chirurgie (by question and answer). Addition des médicaments tirés des 'Principes de la chirurgie de Mr. de la Faye'. With a collection of receipts and prescriptions. At the end of the first part (p. 104) 'Fait à Larochelle ce 9 8bre 1749 chez la ve[u]ve la Borie rue de St. Jean. Bédoire [partly erased] chirurgien'. On p. 183 'Fait le 18 juillet 1752'. On the first preliminary leaf is a 'Recette contre la gangrène donnée par le sieur Rempelaar apotiquaire de Deventer...1781'. This is by a different hand from that of the rest of the volume. The 'Traité' appears to be a version of J. B. A. Andouille's lectures on surgery, at the Hôpital de St. Cosme, Paris. Produced in La Rochelle.
