Fellow of the Royal Society (1959);

Research Corporation Award (1961);

Election to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences (1962);

Fellow of University College London (1962);

Honorary Membership, American Society of Biological Chemists (1963);

CBE (telegram declining, 1963).

The file also includes a letter from Crick recommending Marc Bretscher for Friedrich-Miescher Prize (1972), an exchange of letters with Professor J Brachet about the Prix Charles-Léopold Mayer (1976), and correspondence with the Executive Secretary of the President's Committee on the National Medal of Science concerning Arthur Kornberg and James Watson (1976).
