Notes

Brenda Parker comes from County Down. She is a scientist and wants to revitalize this state institionalized image that we have carved for females scientists. Currently she is working on a project developing algo-bio-fuel and feels very passionately about environmental issues. Rather than becoming a doctor she wanted to really fix a problem - the imminent limitation. On the plinth what most people think of lady scientists and then what she actually looks like.
