Description
Series of oral history interviews on video of people who had worked in the various Wellcome Foundation laboratories in 1950s. Recordings carried out by Max Blythe, Oxford Brooks University, with a grant from the Wellcome Trust (WT). Interviewer was Dr Len Goodwin.
WT subsequently withdrew support and the project was not completed. David Dillon, the camera operator and tape editor, continued to work on the tapes in a personal capacity.

Ownership note
Items transferred to WF archive separately from bulk of collection. David Dillon, the camera operator and tape editor on the project, retained the tapes after the project was halted and continued to work on them. In November 2003 he passed them on to Dr Goodwin who subsequently transferred them to the Wellcome Trust. They were passed onto Tilli Tansey who returned them mid 2004.
