Set of papers charting Ashburner's employee relationship with the University of Cambridge Department of Genetics. The file includes a number of Ashburner's submitted annual reports of professors and readers as requested by the University along with correspondence regarding his appointment to various positions within the department, correspondence regarding an offer of a professorship at the University of California and correspondence regarding Ashburner's position at the European Bioinformatics Institute and consequent move to part-time status at the University.
