Project description:The Living Every Day project aims to develop a resource pack to extend early years practitioners’ knowledge and understanding of the biomedical sciences in order to improve the quality of young children’s early experience of ‘life and living processes’. It combines activities for young children, linked to everyday experience, with an in-house training programme for managers to use with practitioners to build their interest, confidence and enthusiasm for the biosciences. Intrinsic to the structure of the resources are opportunities for adults (both practitioners and family members) and children to discuss, raise questions, share opinions and reflect.
