    Trower. 2 A.D. 1826.—N° 5362. ZachariaKs Combination of 3Iaterials to be used as Fuel. Levy Zachariah, do hereby declare that the nature of my said Invention, and the manner in which the same is to be performed, are particularly described and ascertained in 'the following description thereof (that is to say):— . 5 My Invention consists in dipping the mixture or combinations herein-after mentioned in hot coal tar, or in any other tar or oil, or grease of any kind, in a boiling or hot state. The ingredients to be used are the dung of horses, or cattle of any description, sawdust, tanner s bark, or any other bark, the refuse of dyers wood, or any other wood .of a proper substance, or coke, or cinders 10 beaten small, or ashes, and mud, clay, or other suitable material. The above may be mixed in any proportions, but the proportions which have been found to answer the best are the following:—One fourth dung, one fourth sawdust, one fourth tanner s bark, and one fourth mud, with sufficient water to make them bind well together; they are then formed into squares or lumps of any 15 convenient size, and dried either in the air or by artificial heat, and then dipped for two or three minutes in hot tar, as above mentioned, and when again dry they are fit for use. The refuse* or cinders of the above, or any other cinders or coke, when dipped as above, will burn very well. In witness whereof, I, the said Levy Zachariah, have hereunto set my 20 ^ hand and se^, this Eighth day of November, in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and twenty-six. (l.s.) L. zachariah, f AND BE IT BEMEMBEEED, that on the Eighth day of November, in the year of our Lord 1826, the aforesaid Levy Zachariah came before our said I^ord 25 the King in His Chancery, and acknowledged the Specification aforesaid, and all and every thing therein contained and specified, in form above written. And also the Specification aforesaid was stamped according to the tenor of the Statute made for that purpose. Inrolled the Eighth day of November, in the year of our Lord One 80 j thousand eight hundred and twenty-six.
