Richerand, Balthasar Anthelme de (1779-1840)

Cours complet de chirurgie rédigé par A. Richerand. Author's holograph MS. Some leaves have been torn out after fol. 144, and a piece cut out of fol. 13. Inserted between fol. 21 and fol. 22 is a quarto page of a holograph letter by Alexis de Boyer [1757-1833] dated 23 July, 1797 [30 Thermidor an 5] concerning a syphilitic patient; between fol. 196 and fol. 197 are three holograph reports by the author dated 1805 of cases at the Hôpital St. Louis, and between fol. 164, and fol. 165 another report of a case by him, written later in the same year. The spine is lettered 'Pathologie chirurgicale', and these words appear in the title, but have been struck through. Produced in Paris.
