The last 19 ll. contain pen-drawings of the various parts of the clock. The title as given on the third leaf is: 'Dichiaratione di Pier Adamo sopra l'horologio di Mantua, fabricato per il singularissimo Astrologo Bartolomeo de Manfredi ...'

There is no record in the library at Wellcome Collection accession registers of how this manuscript was acquired. From the accession number, it was probably acquired between summer 1924 and summer 1925, but there is no indication of whether it was purchased or received as a gift, of the source, or (if purchased) of the price or even the currency paid. Most items on the appropriate page in the register were purchased at auction in London, from Stevens' or Sotheby's, but a few were purchased from R. Lier in Florence.
