Biographical note
Sex Education Forum (SEF) lobbied successfully for the introduction of compulsory Relationships and Sex Education in England. After 34 years of being hosted at the National Children's Bureau (NCB), Sex Education established themselves as an independent charity in April 2021. SEF supports educators with training, resources and a membership scheme to support teachers and school workers in providing evidence-based competent Sex Education to young people. The organisation gathers international evidence about effective RSE and uses this to inform policy and practice and to increase public understanding of the benefits of RSE.
