Description

Commentaries, highly philosophical and metaphysical, on the "Categoriae" of Aristotle.

Part of fo. 84 verso and the whole of fo. 85 recto have been left blank for an insertion that has never been made.

The "Categoriae", an abstruse discourse on the nature of simple names or expressions signifying different kinds of entities and capable of predication, is an early work, influenced by the teachings of Plato.
