Biographical note
"Made to Measure" courses were specifically designed for individual health authorities, social service departments, LEAs and other statutory and voluntary organisations. These courses deal with a wide range of areas; for example, communication skills, sexuality, assertion training, child sexual abuse, team building, AIDS awareness, stress, group and interpersonal skills. A standard evaluation process was built into these courses. This took the form of a questionnaire given to all participants at the end of the course asking them whether the course had met the stated objectives, whether they had gained knowledge and skills relevant to their work etc.
