Wellcome has announced the sale of shares worth up to 4̋,000 million. Share price fell 12p to 9̋.13, and went as low as 9̋.05 during the day. Sources reported by Reuters dismiss the idea of scaling down the scale of the issue. Andy Hartwell discusses the share price. A short term difficulty is that the pharmaceutical sector is out of favour in USA at present, but there is no fundamental difficulty.
