    Item. That reddy money shall be paide for the said veales, porkes, lambes, bacon, and poultrie immediately uppon the receipt of the same. Item. If it happen that the said poultrie appointed by this commission to be delivered as before, be not delivered or tendred fitt, and meete for her Majesty^s service at the place and times before agreed upon. That then the said sheare of Hertford to forfeit the doble of everie pole of poultrie to be likewise supplied within xiiii. daies after. Item. If it shall chance that the saide veales, porkes, lambes, bacon, and poultrie, appointed by this composicon to be delivered or any part thereof be not receaved to the Queen’s Majesty’s use of the bringers of the same to the places before appointed within one day next after the bringing of the same, and offers made thereof to her Majesty’s officers to whom it shall appertains. That then the Queenes Majesty is to beare the charges bothe of the keepinge of the said cattel, poultrye, and the bringers of the same, untyll such time as they shall be receaved. Item. That soe long time as this composicon shall endure ther shall be noe manner of purveyance within the said sheare or comminge out of the said sheare, to any faire or markett by vertue of her Majesty’s commission to the use of her Majesty of or for any oxen, muttons, veales, porkes, sturks, lambes and poultrie, or any other provision of victualls (all manner of wildfowle excepted) for the expenses of her Majesty^s house. Nevertheless if it shall happen her Majesty to come in progresse, and to be in any parte of the said sheare, that then it shall be lawfull for her Majesty’s officers to provide within the said sheare all manner of provisions and victualls for her said house, according to the usuall prices of the marketts at the taking thereof, makinge present and reddye paymente for the same. Item. If any person or persons inhabitinge within the said sheare shall wilfully refuse to contribute and paie towards these provisions of composicons which shall be rated by the justices of peace of the said sheare or the more parte of them. That then uppon certifficate thereof from them to their honours a pursevaunt shall be sent down to apprehend, and bringe before their honours all suche persons for refusing to answers their contempts.
