About this work

Description

Prior to 2001, there was one governing body of The Physiological Society, The Committee. In 2001, the governance structure of The Physiological Society changed. The Council of Trustees became legally responsible for the overall governance, management and policy of The Society. These Trustees also became the Directors of The Physiological Society. The Executive Committee took over the day-to-day operations of The Society, its members being drawn from, and elected by, the Council. The documents in section B relate to pre-2001 Committee while papers relating to the post-2001 Council and Executive Committee are found in section S.
