Notes

Jon Snape is from Manchester. He applied because he is a fan of Gormley. He is going to be setting up a living room on the plinth, he will then get into his pyjamas to relax. His friends will also be wearing pyjamas and giving out muffins and housing leaflets. He works for a housing association and is doing the project to highlight the need for good quality housing. There are many people living in temporary accommodation with no real home, he thinks it is important to have a quality environment to live in. He has a banner promoting housing. He is worried about the weather. His job and making a contribution to society are important to him. People, music and art are also important to him. He describes himself as optimistic. He moved to Manchester partly for his job and because he liked the city, he finds it a friendlier city than London. He has previously worked for a wine shop and in psychiatric care.
