Poetical charades

With other verses, epitaphs, etc.: some on medical subjects. Among the verses is one on the verso of the 16th leaf from the end headed: 'A song on the Times-written in 1792'. One poem, and many authors' names or initials are written in cypher.

1 volume 88 ll. folio. 311/2 × 191/2 cm. Original vellum binding. Two leaves have been cut out after the first leaf. The spine was originally lettered 'Poetical Charades ca. 1780', but most of the back-strip is now wanting.
