Notes

Gwynneth Pedler originally from the East End of London but at the age of 14 was sent to Suffolk because of the war but now lives in Oxford. She is retired but worked as a primary school teacher and is on various committees for disability rights. She uses a mobility scooter and is very passionate about actioning equality for disabled people, particularly on public transport. On the plinth she is going to perform semaphore.
