Description

Decorations in book are based on various periods, but all have a traditional relationship to the Vedic fire ritual. Depiction of Agni, the vedic God of fire as a healing deity, with description. One diary is weekly and annotated by Dr. A Rogers. The other is weekly, with a pencil and is blank. 2 copies. Copy 1: weekly diary annotated by Dr. A. Rogers. Copy 2 weekly, blank.

Physical description

2 copies. Wallet style, bound in Morocco leather with wallet to hold a pen. Endpapers printed in light brown with cream printed unicorns. Text block machine made paper, text printed in black, paper pre lined with blue and brown printing ink. The Diary has all three edges in red. Embossed blind on spine '1936' and embossed unicorn on front, embossed 'Wellcome's Medical Dairy 1936' on flap. There is a blue tape bookmark printed ''WELLCOME' CHEMICALS PAGE 323. PRICE LIST PAGE 331' printed in dark blue. The tape has an advert attached to it, in the form of a paper; bottle of Wellcome Digoxin, on other side, bottle of Ergometrine.
