Includes estimates and quotations for furnishings from Thomas Hunter of York, Robert Varvill and Sons, York, and W. Rowntree Son and Co, Scarborough, together with notes; details of furnishings; coloured examples of floor-cloth patterns and samples of the cloth; drawings of furniture; a printed catalogue of furniture sold by Rowntree, Son and Co, and a quotation from George Beaumont, builder, of Wakefield, specifying the necessary works to provide the new, smaller, padded room. Also included is an annotated copy of the Retreat Annual Report for 1875 (which has plan of New Lodge Building within it) with notes about the furnishing arrangements for specific patients
