    THE WORK WILL CONTAIN 1. Reports oF Mepicat anp SurcicaL Cases occurrinc In Guy’s HospiraL.—These Reports will be furnished respectively by the Physician or Surgeon under whose care each particular case has occurred, and accom- panied by any Clinical observations which he may think proper to er in the form of Essays or otherwise. 2. Reports or Oputrnatmic Caszs.—These will be furnished by the Surgeon to the Eye Infirmary of Guy’s Hospital, or his Assistant, and accompanied by the Clinical observations of the former. 3. Reports or OpstetRic Cases anp Cases oF Uterine Disrase.— These (which will be obtained from the Lying-in-Charity connected with the Hospital, and the Ward appropriated to Uterine Diseases,) will be furnished by the Obstetric Physician or his Assistants, and accompanied by his Clinical observations. 4. Reports oF Patuorocicat ExaMINATIONS, AND REFERENCES TO tHE Museum; which will be supplied by the Physician or Surgeon under whose care each case occurred, or by the Curator of the Museum or his Assistant. 5. Essays and Cases selected from those read before the Puysitcat Society, Accounts of Accidents and Operations, and other Miscellaneous Information connected with the School. N.B. The Cases reported will be those selected by the Medical or Surgical Officers, as most conducive to the end aimed at in the publica- tion of the work—namely, the recording the many valuable facts which so extensive an Institution as Guy’s Hospital must present, and which would otherwise be confined to those who have the opportunity of witness- ing them, and thus lost to the majority of the profession.
